Finding the meaning of life

One of the biggest lies sold to us is that the meaning of life is to to be ‘found’. ‘Discovered’.

This would mean that the meaning is out there. Lying somewhere. Unchanging. Static. Waiting to be found.

And yet, we are meaning creation machines.

Reality just has a bunch of a neutral events. Like scattered colorful beads.

We can weave a thread through those beads in a hundred different ways. And create a hundred different necklaces.

Meaning is what we ascribe to neutral events. Like weaving a necklace.

You do not find meaning. You are constantly creating it.
